Festival of Carols 2005
La Ronde Concert Band joined us for the third time for carols in 2005.
Wednesday 20th December was the date set for our Festival of Carols in 2006 which took place at St. Helier Methodist Centre. Normally this concert takes place at St. Thomas' Roman Catholic Church but due to the extensive refurbishments this was not possible. The offering taken during the concert raised £2600 and was donated to St. Thomas' Church Refurbishment Fund (in 2005 we raised £2500 for Headway). The JEP report of the 21st December called the concert "Musical magic" and it had "brought Christmas even closer" as the choirs and band had played extremely well.
